This website hosts the digital version of Seeing What is Not There, Figuring the Anarchive. Certain elements not included in the printed copy can only be seen in the digital version. An explanation of the interaction between the printed and digital versions can be found in the body of the thesis.  

Only use Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the file. It will not display correctly with other PDF viewing software, or in a browser. The file will also not have full functionality on any tablet or phone, and needs to be viewed on a desktop computer or laptop. The earliest version of Adobe Acrobat supported by this file is 10, but it is recommended that the latest version be used. Adobe Acrobat Reader can be downloaded if necessary, at no cost, directly from the Adobe website: https://get.adobe.com/reader/ 

When clicked, Seeing What is Not There, should simply open in full screen mode. If any issues are encountered, please check the following:

The file requires JavaScript to be turned on in order to view it with full functionality, and it is turned on by default. If JavaScript has been turned off, you will see a yellow banner in the program indicating that Javascript is needed. If you see this banner, please enable JavaScript under Options.

In addition, the file will automatically go into fullscreen mode. Please allow this setting, as it is the optimal way in which to view the thesis. The file works best without scrolling enabled, and thus the file was set up with page-by-page view as the default.
